We have limited availability for the Classic 7-night tour based at the Le Meridien Grand hotel in Nuremberg. This beautiful hotel is in a prime location for sightseeing, dining, and shopping in the pedestrian zone of Old Nuremberg. As a 5-star hotel Le Meridien offers all the nice amenities you need including onsite dining, gym, sauna, and excellent daily breakfast. A secure bike room is also located at this hotel.

The Le Meridien 7-night Challenge Roth Classic tour has limited tour spaces starting at $3,195 per person, double occupancy and $3,995 single occupancy.

New for 2026 is our 5-night Challenge Roth Classic Tour that bases at the Congress Mercure hotel in Nuremberg. This is a 4-star hotel nestled within a large green park. Enjoy daily breakfast, all transfers, and a whole host of tour services and amenities.

Please note, 5-night tours are primarily suitable for guests who are spending time in advance of the race week tour in the local area. If you are traveling from the Americas, consider arriving early to allow yourself the time needed to adjust to the time zone and recover from your flight.

 
 

BOOKING A CHALLENGE ROTH TOUR

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. CHOOSE A TOUR. All 7-night tour packages begin on Tuesday and end on the Tuesday after the race. All 5-night tour packages begin on Thursday and end on Tuesday. A VIP Tier is available at the Ramada Park Hotel Nuremberg, Dormero Hotel Roth, Le Meridien Nuremberg and the Park Plaza Nuremberg. Our Classic tours are hosted at the Ramada Park Nuremberg and Congress Mercure Nuremberg.

  2. SELECT THE DATE. Once you click the green “Book Now” button on the tour package of your choice, look for the mini-calendar and scroll to select the correct tour start date. (For 2026, you will select either Tuesday, June 30 or Thursday, July 2, 2026 for your tour start date. Race day in 2026 is Sunday, July 5.)

3. MAKE YOUR DEPOSIT. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $750 USD is required for each athlete and each spectator in your booking. All tour packages are priced per person. Spectators will enjoy access to tour transportation, accommodations, tours, shuttles, parties, "swag" and a completely VIP race day experience. The Challenge Roth Tours VIP Race Day program is included for all spectators who are booked into any of the tour packages.

4. CONFIRM. You'll receive confirmation from us by email that your booking has been processed and you are IN. Your race entry access code with instructions will be sent to you separately by email. Race entry access expires on October 30, 2025. Race entry fees are not included in the tour package prices; we furnish an online access code and you pay the race entry fee separately when you register yourself into the race. Race entries are governed by the policies of Challenge Roth. Once your race code is received, you have a short window to register yourself into the race, usually 72 hours, before the code becomes inactive.

5. LEVEL IT UP. Consider adding our Pro Bike Service package at checkout for $250. Space is limited for this popular add-on. We’ll assemble your bike, get you dialed in, perform a safety check and re-package your bike after the race. You also get priority access to our bike mechanics for any bike issues. If you are booking a 7-night tour you can also add the new “Beat Jet Lag” pre-tour, June 29-30. The pre-tour includes one night at the Hilton Munich airport hotel, breakfast, a FlyKitt jetlag solution and transfer to your hotel to join the Challenge Roth tour on Tuesday, June 30.

6. EXTEND YOUR STAY. You can also separately book our post-Challenge Roth Best of Bohemia 5-night extension tour of Prague or the 5-night Bavarian Alps Roth Recovery Tour to make the most of your time in Europe. These can also be added at checkout. Mitigate jet lag when you add the Pre-Tour package in Munich and arrive on Monday, June 29. You’ll be rested and ready to begin your 7-night tour on Tuesday, June 30. Available at checkout.

7. GET COVERED. Please mitigate your risk for financial loss in the event you have to cancel your Challenge Roth tour due to unplanned illness, accident or injury that prevents you from traveling or participating in the tour. You can find a number of sources for travel insurance and medical travel insurance. We have partnered with World Nomads for this purpose and you can find more information about what their policies include and get a customized quotation here. No refunds are available if you must cancel your Challenge Roth tour on or after December 31, 2025.

  • Please purchase travel insurance in the event you have to cancel your race tour. Changes and cancellations can be processed with partial refund to you until December 30, 2025. After this date, all 2026 tour sales are final and no changes or refunds will be made, no exceptions. All $750 initial deposits are non-refundable, as they are used to secure your spot on tour. We have partnered with World Nomads to provide travel insurance coverage options. Click here to learn more and get a customized quotation.   • Please take travel insurance to mitigate your possible financial loss due to unplanned cancellation due to illness, accident or injury. Up until December 30, 2025 if you notify us in writing on or before that date, we can immediately process your refund, less your initial $750 non-refundable deposit per traveler. AFTER DECEMBER 30, 2025 no cancellations, changes, or refunds are permitted, no exceptions. If Challenge Roth must postpone the race date, your tour package will accompany the new date at no additional charge to you.

  • We confirm every booking with a $750 USD initial non-refundable deposit per traveler (athlete or spectator). A second installment of 50% of the balance due is collected automatically on September 30 on the credit card you provided at the time of booking. The remaining (final) balance is collected automatically on November 30, 2025. All balances are collected using the credit card on file, unless you specify otherwise. You also have the option of paying in full at time of booking. Please contact us if you need a customized payment plan. We want to make this happen for you!

  • "Can I bring my whole team or club?" YES. The beauty of booking with us is we can accommodate your group, ensuring that every team or club member gets access into Challenge Roth, and no one is left out. The tours sell out quickly, so get your team list together as early as possible. We are happy to work with you on custom pricing for any group of 20 or more travelers.

  • Spectators who book our tours get the VIP treatment! In addition to the accommodation, transportation, daily breakfast, and all tour amenities, we provide them with a comprehensive race day that allows them to see the swim, bike, run and finish line area. We transport and guide your loved ones from point to point all day in this logistically complex event. With most of the roads closed, and transitions miles apart, our VIP spectator tour is THE best way to see the race. We provide transport, food, drinks, and VIP areas at the swim and bike view points. On the run course we maintain a “hotspot” cheer zone at a pub in Roth, close to the finish line.

    Spectators and Athletes pay the same price for all versions of the Challenge Roth tour. Spectators enjoy all the same services and amenities, accommodations, etc. as the athletes. Children ages 12 and under (age on race day), have reduced tour pricing.

  • "Can I ship my bike over? Can I ship it home one-way?" Yes and Yes.

    Several companies offer this type of service. We recommend LuggageForward (link at the bottom of this page). Please allow plenty of time for your bike shipment to arrive (typically 7-8 business days, standard service). Do not pack anything but your bike into the box, and do not place CO2 cartridges or water bottles into your bike box or luggage. These items tend to hold your shipment up in Customs, and can easily be purchased at the race expo.

  • We have professional bike service managers that work at our hotels during your stay if you have a bike repair emergency. You can also add our Pro Bike Service package at check out that includes bike building, safety and performance check, and repacking your bike after the race for $250. (This service fills up quickly, so add this at checkout so you don't miss out!)

  • Training plans are available as well as optional personalized coaching for this event.
