We include your choice of race entry (Marathon, 10k or 5k) paired with a spectacular itinerary to some of the country’s most sought after locations.
Special guest host joining you for the Athens Marathon Tour is 2004 Athens Olympic Medalist and American running legend, Deena Kastor. This will be Deena’s first return to Greece since she won the Olympic Bronze medal in the marathon.
The 26.2 miles of the race represent the original run that started it all with a route from the village of Marathon to Athens, Greece. Welcome to the birthplace of the marathon, where Pheidippides heroically trod, and where you can join a field of more than 25,000+ runners fueling the excitement of the finish line in the Olympic stadium!

An Inspiring Itinerary
To this exceptional running experience we add an equally impressive itinerary that ticks all the boxes for the best locations, accommodations, culinary, archaeological, and cultural highlights that Greece has to offer. Flying overnight from the Americas on Wednesday, November 4, you’ll arrive and meet us at our host hotel on Thursday morning. From there you are well looked after throughout your 10-day journey.

PRIVATELY GUIDED EXCURSIONS including a day cruise with visits to the Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina and a visit to Greece’s Nemea wine country, with lunch and a vineyard tour. We’ll also visit Epidaurus, Delphi, Corinth, the Temple of Poseidon, and the National Archeological Museum. We also spend time at the Acropolis and its museum, and enjoy time in Athens. Weather is typically nicer, in the 70’s this time of the year, with calm seas.

Pricing is presented as double occupancy, per person. Single occupancy is also available. If you’re traveling and racing solo with us, we are happy to be your support team in Athens! In the questionnaire for athlete bookings, please designate if you would prefer a race bib for the marathon, 10k, or 5k distance races. Pricing does not include airfare, taxes, booking fees or travel insurance.
