Meet the RaceQuest Travel team
CEO and Co-Founder
Krista is a world traveler, experienced marathoner, triathlete and now newbie mountain biker who lives life on the road less traveled. She's also a multi-sport industry veteran and co-founder of RaceQuest Travel. Her knowledge, expertise and heart for helping others explore new destinations and cultures has been a common theme throughout her life.
Krista knows what it means to travel as an endurance athlete. Her experience as VIP Director for a major race management company, and her marketing work for a professional triathlon team serves her well when she's building training and race packages for our athletes.
When Krista isn't checking out destinations for RaceQuest and working with our international partners in the sport, she makes her home on the "gold coast" northwest Pacific side of Costa Rica.
CMO and Co-Founder
Kelli became a triathlete in 2009 at a beginner-friendly sprint race at the US Gulf Coast, having spent her life up to that point as a self-confessed tennis nut.
Like many new triathletes, that first finish line changed Kelli's life - and her career path - forever. Professionally, Kelli's background in international travel marketing, sports marketing, public relations and project management helps us tell the RaceQuest story uniquely, every day.
Kelli is living her dream of combining travel, marketing and media expertise with her passion for endurance sports as a RaceQuest co-founder and endurance sports marketing consultant. Her favorite aspect of her RaceQuest role? Interacting with the heart and soul of RaceQuest…our incredible clients.
Kelli crossed her first "half" distance triathlon finish line in 2012. She loves nothing more than to hit the road with RaceQuest to support several events throughout the year. The tennis court will once again have to wait.
Athlete Ambassador and Co-Founder
When Scott is not part of the evil empire destroying the world in Banking and Finance from his London base, he is a world-class IRONMAN Age Grouper. He's competed in dozens of long course events, including the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona. He's also done The Norseman, considered one of the toughest triathlons in the world.
Scott has represented his home country, Australia, on multiple occasions at the World Long Course Championships and also completed The Trans Rockies 120 mile Trail Run twice and the Trans Alpine 160 mile Trail Run.
Scott's typical year includes two or three iron-distance races, plus an event like the Lost World 100km one day trail run and the 167 mile self-supported Grand Canyon Ultra, all of which he completed in 2013. His latest achievement was completing the prestigious 7 Marathons, on 7 Continents, in 7 Days, “7-7-7” Challenge in 2018.
No doubt as an Aussie, his convict background has a lot to do with all this running. Scott (or "Wookiee" to his friends) is the first to admit he enjoys being a weekend warrior and is always happy to share and give advice on how he balances a busy career, family, and a passion for adventure.
Bike Service Manager
Scott Miles of Atlanta, Georgia, is the newest member of the RaceQuest Travel team. An accomplished triathlete and cyclist, Scott competed in his first triathlon in 1987, while he was still in college. Since then, he has participated in numerous races and is a multiple-time IRONMAN finisher.
During the past few years he has found a new passion with mountain bikes, XC and racing XTERRA events. He also enjoys competing in road time trials. Although he holds degrees in both Graphic Design and Fine Arts, Scott's passion has always been cycling. His mechanical abilities eventually led him to seek out training and certification in triathlon, road, and mountain bike mechanics as well as bicycle fitting. He is the Service Manager for All3Sports (Atlanta), one of the top bike shops in the United States.
Scott is eager to use his expert knowledge of bicycle mechanics to provide RaceQuest clients the safest, most mechanically sound and stress-free cycling experience possible.
