This is a 5-night Challenge Roth tour package that includes your choice of 4-star or 5-star accommodation in Nuremberg. Whether you prefer a quiet, leafy suburb 5 minutes from downtown, or you want to base in Old Town Nuremberg and have sightseeing, dining, and shopping at your doorstep, it’s possible with this version of our Challenge Roth tour.
All Challenge Roth tour packages include unprecedented access to purchase a guaranteed race entry, if you need one. This Nuremberg-based version of the tour offers access to swimming pools, scenic places to test out your bike or get in an easy run, and at just 25 minutes from Roth, it’s an ideal location to enjoy your race week.
This tour is best suited for those who are doing some pre-race exploration in Germany and have time to acclimate. If you are traveling from the Americas, we recommend the 7-night tour to give your body an optimum amount of time to feel race-ready.

All Challenge Roth Tours are open to athletes needing to purchase a race entry and those who have already gained an entry through the lottery or previous race participation.

What’s Included
ACCESS TO BUY individual Challenge Roth race entry. The race sells out in 40 seconds, so guarantee your start line with us easily and conveniently! (Race entry fee for 2025 is 749 Euros ($815 USD).
PREMIUM ACCOMMODATIONS in Nuremberg (City or Park) for you and your guests. Choose Single, Double or Twin Share occupancy. Junior Suites and a limited number of Family Suites are available. Hotel rooms are beautifully appointed, with amenities and athlete-focused service you’ll love.
EXPERIENCED TOUR LEADERS: Personal support from experienced tour leaders who care about every aspect of your tour, your travel and the event. Our tour leaders have the expertise and critical local knowledge to assist you with your needs throughout the tour. Many have raced Challenge Roth themselves, and all tour leaders have several years of Challenge Roth race tour experience.
ALL GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Leave the driving to us! We include round trip airport shuttles to the hotel from Munich or Nuremberg airports, and transportation to key Challenge Roth race week activities. No need to rent a car.
DAILY BREAKFAST: Enjoy a full breakfast each day with hot and cold buffet options. On race day, we open breakfast at 3:00 a.m. for all athletes and guests.
RACE COURSE ORIENTATION: We give you a detailed look at the swim course with an opportunity to swim in the canal, we drive the bike course together (one lap) and show you the run course, highlighting key points for you along the way. Loaded with valuable information for race day.
BIKE & BAGS RETRIEVAL: We transport your bike to T1 for check-in, and after the race we retrieve your bike and 2 gear bags from T2 and deliver them back to the hotel for you, saving your legs and giving you time to celebrate worry-free at the Roth finish line!
PRO BIKE MECHANIC: You have priority access to our professional bike mechanics and you may also upgrade with the Pro Bike Service package at checkout for $195. This optional service includes bike assembly, any adjustments to get dialed in, and re-packing of your bike after the race.
VIP RACE DAY: Spectators who are booked on any of the Challenge Roth tours have access to a spectacular race day! We have VIP tents at the swim start with hot coffee, tea, pastries, and we provide transportation in our comfortable, air conditioned motor coaches to several cheering zones on the race course. We also include drinks, fan “swag” and all-day stadium seating at the finish. Many spectators on tour have told us the fun and convenience of their race day services was “worth the price of admission!”

Onsite restaurants and a lobby bar make it a hub of activity for the tour.
Walk to your choice of two local swimming pools (one is an 8-lane Olympic pool), take advantage of the huge green park with running and biking paths for your light training, and enjoy sightseeing, dining, grocery, pharmacy, bakery, and ATM all within walking distance. All Challenge Roth Tour details are subject to change. Challenge Roth race entry is purchased in a separate transaction, online, from the race office, using the access code we provide to you. You are responsible for activating your personal code and link in order to register, typically a 72-hour time window. Challenge Roth governs the race entry. Individual race entry for 2025 is 749 Euros ($815 USD).
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that after December 30, 2024 no changes or refunds will be made for any tour, no exceptions. Travel insurance recommendations are below.
Interest-Free Payment Schedule
You may elect to make payments with our interest-free installment plan. We process your initial $750 per person deposit (non-refundable), and collect a second installment on July 1 of 50% of your remaining balance. The final balance is collected on September 30.
If you request a customized, interest-free payment plan, all final payments are due by December 1, 2024. All pricing stated is per person. Athletes and spectators are charged the same price, as you have access to the services, activities, tours and transfers, regardless of your racing status.
Airfare is not included, but we are happy to help you with complimentary air travel planning. Transaction fees for our credit card transactions will be collected in addition to stated tour fees. About Travel Insurance
Please consider a travel insurance solution to fit your individual needs. We partner with World Nomads to offer several options to help you mitigate your risk of financial loss should you need to cancel your tour after December 30, 2024.
There are additional trip coverage plans out there that offer a “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) addendum such as Seven Corners. It’s important to note that if you opt for a CFAR plan, this typically must be purchased within 20 days of your initial trip deposit, and will cover up to 75% of your trip expenses.
